V European Franciscan Youth Congress in Lithuania |

Preparations have started for the V European Franciscan Youth Congress with the theme “Through Martyrdom to Resurrection”, which will take place in Lithuania on 18th-24th of August, 2009.
It will be a great honor for Lithuanian Franciscan Youth to welcome other Young Franciscans in their country which celebrates a Millennium since the first historical mention of Lithuania’s name and its capital Vilnius, European Capital of Culture 2009.
This Congress will truly be a special event for the Young Franciscans of Europe, as it will be held during the celebration of the VIII Centenary of the birth of the Franciscan charisma.
